What's On

Malone Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women (PW) is an organisation for women within the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. At Malone we have a PW group that meets fortnightly.

Its motto is “Living for Jesus”, and the logo of a circle around the cross represents women whose lives are centred on the Lord Jesus Christ. The PW evenings are full of fun and many of the women have become great friends. You can take part in all sorts of activities and if you would like a calendar of their evening activities and days out. Malone PW meets fortnightly at 7.45pm in the Minor Hall.

For more information contact Sue Tate via the Church Office.

Mums & Tots

Mums and Tots has been running for over 25 years.  It is a great opportunity for families with young children in the community to come along and meet one another and get connected with our church volunteer leaders.

There are toys, singing and snack time for the children.

There is a tea, coffee and cake for parents, grandparents and carers.

Contact BJ Cheevers via the church office for more details.

‘Koinonia’ is the name of our coffee morning on Tuesdays at 10.30 am throughout the year. It is a Greek word found in the Bible that means friendship. Koinonia has become a popular coffee morning at Malone that sometimes includes different people coming along to speak about their Christian faith and life. However it is mostly really about people getting to know one another over a cup of coffee, tea and delicious homemade scones.

So if you are free at 10.30 on a Tuesday pop in!

For more information please contact Elizabeth Scott via the Church Office.

Bible and Breakfast

Our Bible and Breakfast programme is for young people year 8+.

We meet together on Sunday mornings at 10am for some breakfast, some fun, to explore some of the big questions of life, and talk about what it means to have faith in Jesus.  Some weeks we do this in church and others you’ll find us in coffee shops on the Lisburn Road.  Wherever we are, you’ll find a relaxed atmosphere and have a chance to chat to leaders and people your own age.

Contact Nikki Hanna for further enquiries.  nikki.hanna3033@gmail.com

Jesus At Malone (JAM) is our Sunday morning programme for Pre-school and Primary School age children (age 3-10 years old). We have a great team of volunteers who use Scripture Union resources to teach our children every week about God’s love and how we can follow Jesus. There are Bible Stories, craft, colouring-in and games. When the children leave the Sunday Worship Together they go to the Paton Halls and are led to either the Minor Hall or the Boland Room.

JAM runs during term-time but alternative activities are supervised (such as craft or DVD) during school holiday periods. The highlights of the year is the Christmas Nativity that includes all our JAM children and our JAM-boree BBQ after our Church Family Praise Service in June.

Refuge is our Sunday night youth programme that runs weekly for all those year 8+

Refuge meets in the Boland Room for some fellowship with one another and a place to come together to grow in faith.

At Refuge we come together to have some fun, worship God, and explore what it means to be a follower of Jesus.  Come along for some some food, banter, lots of games, and growing closer to God and each other.
