Giving regularly at worship
The Bible teaches us to set aside an offering to God regularly as an act of worship and it instructs us to set aside at least 10% (after tax). In 1 Corinthians 16:2 it says, 'On the first day of every week each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income.' If you would like to give regularly to Malone as part of your worship, we would encourage you to either contact the Church Office and you will either be provided with some envelopes for weekly giving or information on how to set up a Standing Order with your bank. Many members of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland now manage their finances and in particular their giving to the ministries in the church, through Standing Orders. For more information on how you can give and how your money is being used by the church, then contact the Church Office.

'A beautiful idea': Women's voices in fragile states
Over the Advent and the Christmas season the church’s World Development Appeal aims to raise £500,000, or more, for development projects overseas, with funding channelled through PCI's aid agency partners, Christian Aid and Tearfund. The Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zimbabwe are the focus of ‘A beautiful idea: Women's voices in fragile states’, the Presbyterian Church in Ireland’s (PCI) World Development Appeal for 2017. The proceeds raised this year will support community awareness projects based in these two countries that are run by Action Entraide and Padare Enkundleni reaching some of the world's poorest people, building a future for them in some of the hardest places in the world to be a women, and to be poor. We value your generosity to the WDA each year as well as your prayers.
WHY - Gift Aid is an easy way to help us maximise the value of our donations. When you make a donation to Malone Presbyterian Church or its charitable collections, the gift aid scheme allows Malone to claim back 25p from HMRC for every £1 that you donate to Malone - at no extra cost to you.
WHO - To be eligible to participate you must be a UK taxpayer and are paying an amount of Income tax or Capital gains tax in a given tax year that is at least equal to the amount which will be recovered on your donation.
HOW - Fill out a gift aid declaration and date it. There is no extra paper work. Gift Aid forms are available from the church office.
For the charitable collections, please use the gift aid envelopes which are provided in the pews or vestibule.
